Evening of Sharing and Caring

The 2009 Evening of Sharing and Caring honored Joseph S. McManus for his extraordinary contributions over the years to the welfare of our community’s elders and to those in need. After more than three decades, Mr. McManus recently retired from his pivotal role as CEO and President of Lawrence General Hospital. The gala event was held at the Andover Country Club. Mr. McManus was presented with the St. Marguerite d’Youville Pilgrimage of Love Award recognizing his outstanding commitment and dedication to the seniors of Greater Lawrence and to Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services. Peter Mehegan, longtime anchor of the news magazine show Chronicle, was the after dinner speaker.
