Elects New Board Members
LAWRENCE MA (April 28, 2009) The Board Development Committee for Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services (MIHCS) recently recommended a slate of officers and Directors of the Board for 2009-2010. The following appointments were unanimously approved by Covenant Health Systems upon recommendation by the Mary Immaculate Board of Directors. The new directors were seated at the annual meeting of the Mary Immaculate Board and will initially serve a four year term.
New Directors at Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services
Louis P. Minicucci, Jr. is the President and founder of MINCO Corporation. He is well known throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire for his expertise in real estate matters including property evaluation, site analysis, market analysis and real estate development management. He also has extensive experience in the development of numerous commercial and residential as principal and one of founding partners of Northpoint/Southpoint Realty Development, LLC.
Minicucci is a member of several municipal boards including serving as chairman of the School Building Committee for the Town of North Andover. He also is a past Campaign Chairman for the United Way of Merrimack Valley; past Chairman of the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce; and past Chairman of the Economic Development Committee for the Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce. He has served on many boards including the Men of Merrimack College, the Occupation Advisory Board for Northern Essex Community College; Executive Board of the Lawrence Boys Club; the Greater Lawrence Rotary Club and the Greater Lawrence YMCA. He also serves as an expert witness to multiple courts in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire on real estate matters.
Minicucci is a resident of North Andover.
Efrain Rolon is well known in the Greater Lawrence area with over 15 years of experience in various outreach, training and development organizations in Lawrence. He began his career as a vocational counselor for the Lawrence Youth Commission and currently serves as Deputy Director of Occupancy and Rental Assistance for the Lawrence Housing Authority. He has also served as an employment assistance counselor for the Department of Training and Development and as a Public Housing Manager for the Lawrence Housing Authority.
Rolon is a resident of Salem, NH.
Margaret V. Shaheen brings to the Board extensive experience in elder care. After several years as a geriatric consultant, she established Elder Care Coordinators, Inc. in North Andover. This private firm provides expertise to clients on a variety of issues including case management, Medicaid planning and filing, coordination of in-home care, legal liaison and guardianship.
Shaheen is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and a certified case manager. She is a member of numerous professional organizations and serves as the Secretary for the North Andover Council on Aging and is President of the North Andover High School Parent Advisory Council.
Shaheen is a resident of North Andover.
