Lyster Joins Mary Immaculate Nursing/Restorative Team
LAWRENCE (March 5, 2009) Maryalice Lyster was recently appointed Director of Performance Improvement at the Mary Immaculate Nursing/Restorative Center (MINRC). In this capacity, she will be responsible for designing, implementing, and directing the quality management process and the infection control program for MINRC, the Commonwealth’s third largest skilled nursing and rehabilitative center. She will also serve as Mary Immaculate’s HIPAA officer and Director of Risk Management.
In making this announcement, Barbara E. Grant, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services, said, “We are thrilled that Maryalice has decided to accept this leadership position. She has extensive clinical and managerial experience in diverse long term care settings. We expect that both the staff and our residents will benefit from her knowledge and talents.”
Lyster is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in clinical healthcare settings. Prior to joining Mary Immaculate, Lyster served at Carleton Willard Village in Bedford (MA) in the skilled nursing and dementia units which included administrative responsibilities for the assisted and independent living areas. She also has recently worked at Lexington Village and Holliston Manor/Rehabilitation and has assisted a number of area facilities in a consulting capacity. Lyster’s areas of expertise include operations, regulatory compliance, and staffing.
